Babić Brne

Place – the geographically marked area of ​​Northern Dalmatia, protected by a mark of origin, only 3 kilometers south of Primošten in the vineyards of the same name. The Bucavac site is a protected immovable property, a cultural landscape in rocky terrain with fertile red soil.

People – the Jadrijević Brne family has been cultivating their vineyards since 1920. We are the fourth generation perfecting the symbol of Primošten, the autochthonous Babić variety of wine, in the same vineyards, and in the same way – without mechanization.

Babić Brne is extremely fruity, darker in color, with a taste reminiscent of homemade jam made from ripe cherries, spiced with traces of vanilla. Tannins are pleasant with a more pronounced minerality of earthy taste. Babić Brne is an authentic varietal wine, with an extremely long fruity taste.

It goes well with aged meat and more mature cheeses or just with pleasant company.

There is no Babić wine without working the hoe.
